TAKEI: "Jeff Sessions. In Alabama, integration, he’s fought voting rights and now this issue here, transgender rights. Transgender rights is a fundamental human right and he’s saying it’s a state’s right. No, it isn’t. Human rights cross borders. I’m an American citizen. My citizenship rights don’t end when I cross into Alabama, or North Carolina or to Texas. This is something that is a federal law."
