Bloomberg Doesn’t Mention Gun Control While Listing ‘Things that I Care About’ (Washington Free Beacon)

Liberal billionaire Michael Bloomberg did not mention guns or gun control when he reeled off a list of “things that I care about” during an interview with Squawk Box Friday.

“Everything I have is going to go to the Bloomberg Philanthropies or directly to things that I care about,” he said. “Climate change and the arts and public health and Johns Hopkins and other educational institutions.”

Bloomberg, a fierce advocate for gun control, recently announced his aim to spend $50 million on measure to oppose the National Rifle Association and influence the 2014 elections. Media outlets like NBC seemed to be cheerleading the initiative, treating him to a softball interview on Today.
