Lee Carter: Clinton’s Pneumonia Cover up for ‘a Big Mistake, a Big Communications Failure’

‘Anything that is left ambiguous is going to be interpreted negatively’

CARTER: "Is it about her health? No. This is about trustworthiness. When I am advising clients, I say anything that is left ambiguous is going to be interpreted negatively. This is one of those moments where she could've had this a non-issue. If she talked about the pneumonia on Friday, people would've understood it. Now it seems like there was a big cover-up and once again it's Hillary Clinton keeping everybody in an arms distance and causing the question should I trust her, should I believe her? It was a big mistake. It was a big communications failure and this is be one more thing that will make Clinton's trustworthy numbers go down."
