Turley on Katie Couric Editing RBG’s Interview: ‘It’s an Offense to Both the Field of Journalism and Law’

‘It didn’t fit the media narrative’

EXCERPT:

TURLEY: “Well, it’s an offense to both the fields of journalism and law. You know, there is this effort to craft the interview so that it fits a narrative. And we so recently the ACLU actually edited one of the most famous statements by Ginsburg on abortion to eliminate the word women because that was viewed as sexist. And all of this is really breathtaking for people that have any sense of history, any sense of her legacy. Ginsburg had many traditional values. I am not surprised at all by what she said.”
