Netanyahu: U.N. Embraced Iran Deal Despite Iran Violating U.N. Resolutions

‘U.N. sanctions cover some sanctions but they don’t cover the American, congressional sanctions’

“I think it's important to speak up on the international scene. This is a day when the UN Security Council adopts an agreement with Iran that has violated every UN Security Council resolution you can imagine and openly tweets today a video in which it calls for the destruction of a member-state, Israel. So that's a failing on the international scene. People say: Well, that's it. Sanctions are removed. That's not true, because the UN sanctions cover some sanctions but they don’t cover the American, congressional sanctions. And remember that the United States economy is fifty times the size of the Iranian economy, so companies and countries will have to consider whether they want to go with Iran, with the two percent, or go with the United States, with the 98 percent that remains. I think that that's a question that's still left open. It's not going to be determined until the American Congress votes on this deal.”
