Gene Simmons Hits Trump on Immigration Remarks: Fear Creates Havoc and ‘Hate’ (Mediaite)

KISS frontman Gene Simmons hit Donald Trump a bit on his immigration remarks on CNN tonight, saying “he’s smarter than that, he’s better than that.”

Simmons defended his friend Trump somewhat, saying “what you see is what you get,” but lamented how “unkind” and “ungentlemanly” politics has become these days.

When Don Lemon asked him about Trump’s remarks, Simmons said he’s an immigrant and he understands it’s a complex issue, but “fear creates all kinds of havoc, sometimes it creates hate.”
