PSAKI: “I have one travel announcement, which you all have been asking about. We of course, remain in close touch with state and local elected officials to monitor the recovery. And on Friday, the president and the first lady will travel to Houston. President will meet with local leaders to discuss the winter storm, relief efforts, progress toward recovery and incredible resilience shown by the people of Houston and Texas. While in Texas, the president will also visit a Covid health center where vaccines are being distributed. Clearly they're still more details of the trip coming together. And as we have those we will make those available to all of you.”
