Pete Hegseth on Walking Backwards on Reopening: Not Helpful to Anybody Who’s Ready to Make a Living

‘I believe you should let free people make choices for themselves’

EXCERPT:

HEGSETH: "I didn’t know the European Union actually had borders, because they don’t. I believe that you should let free people actually make choices for themselves, stop being arbitrary about the fact that Costco, Walmart, and Target can be open, but small mom-and-pops cannot. If you don't want to come out, stay home. If you have a higher risk tolerance, go out. I just think walking backwards on this is not helpful for anybody, especially the people that are ready to be willing to go out and make a living and be customers."
