Warren Slams Trump on Border Wall Funding

‘I have no doubt he’ll be sued in the courts’

WARREN: "Look, it's not that the Pentagon is doing this, it's Donald Trump is doing this. And every time he has tried to divert money to build this wall, the courts have said no. This is one more example of Donald Trump just thinking he's above the law, like someone named him king, and that's not the case. In our government, it is Congress that decides where the money gets spent and Congress has not authorized this money, so Donald Trump doesn't get to look at it like his personal bank account and he'll just move a little cash around. This is wrong, it violates the separation of powers and one more time it makes Donald Trump act as if he believes he is above the law. I have no doubt he will be sued in the courts, the courts will stop this and we'll just end up in a further tangle. This is wrong. It's a bad, bad idea.”
