Harry Kazianis on Second N. Korean Summit: Trump ‘Deserves Great Credit For Getting Us to This Point’

‘If the North Koreans cheat or lie or don’t let inspectors in, we don’t do the deal’

RUSH EXCERPT:

KAZIANIS: “Ed, I think both sides need to get a win here. Even Kim Jong-un has his own domestic political audience elite to North Korea he has to convince it is worth dealing with the United States. The deal on the table that’s been floated makes sense. The North Koreans would close down one of their main nuclear testing facilities for weapons and the president would give a political declaration that ends the Korean war or we would take off some sanctions. Both sides win. If the North Koreans cheat or lie or don’t let inspectors in, we don’t do the deal.”
