MSNBC’s Soboroff: For Trump to Think the Good Economy Is Going to Help Him Win Midterm Districts Is ‘Foolish’

‘The politicians in Washington don’t know what’s important to the people in these districts’

EXCERPT:

SOBOROFF: "And the inverse of that, of course, is our politicians in Washington don’t know what’s important to the people in these districts. The President’s actually been out there over the last couple of days doing this back and forth with President Obama, talking about how strong the economy is and who should get credit for the economy. In this district, and I was down in Florida the week before that, nobody wants to give anybody credit for a good economy. People are all still looking for good jobs. To hear the President think that — talking about how strong the economy is, is going to help him win these midterm districts is foolish."
