TAPPER: "So you're a good friend of Bill Clinton. He's been accused of some pretty tough stuff as well. Pretty heinous stuff. What do you think of someone who looks at this and says, you covered up for him."
McAULIFFE: "I clearly didn't cover up. I wrote a book and I came out and I was very tough on bill Clinton at the time. What we're dealing with is a situation where we have someone in the White House. It was federal dollars used to cover up a domestic abuse situation. And I think that's very serious for the United States government."
