Spicer: Trump Would Be ‘Well-Served’ for DOJ to Look at FISA Memo and Make the Case About Not Releasing It

‘There should be an opportunity for people to get in from the Justice Department to view that and then be able to make the case to the president why they don’t think it should be released’

EXCERPT:

SPICER: "But I think the President would be well-served by having people at the Justice Department look at it and then make the case to him personally via the attorney general or whomever why it would not be a good idea in terms of what it could potentially expose the United States to. That being said, there’s also the case that if they’re just trying to keep themselves from being exposed for the wrongful use of classified information or inappropriate or unethical actions, then it should be exposed. But there should be an opportunity for people to get in from the Justice Department to view that and then be able to make the case to the President why they don’t think it should be released."
