Luis Gutierrez: I Don’t Want Border Patrol Agents All Over the Border Creating ‘Deportation Machinery’

‘We have enough border patrol agents’

GUTIERREZ: "So what I’m saying is, look, what they want is tools to be able to deport families. They want additional tools and that is what happens. Remember, the border patrol agents aren’t just on the border. They are a hundred miles in their jurisdiction. They will go into Tucson and El Paso and into San Diego and they’re going to create a deportation machinery there. So there is that. So, as I look at it, the other thing is legal immigration. You know what they are saying? That folks like my mom, she only spoke English, right, she had a — an elementary school education, but she made sure I went to school and got to college."
